We currently do not accept same day orders. However, we invite you to visit our store where our dedicated team will be delighted to assist you with your cake needs.

Why won’t my order process online?
Apart from Strawberry Watermelon Cake, online orders can only be made 48 hours in advance. Check our store opening times to make sure the store is open on the date you require the pickup.

Melbourne Delivery

Made with love and handcrafted with care, our iconic Strawberry Watermelon cake takes a team of 12 people up to six hours a day to perfect the world’s most Instagrammed cake.

From hand cut fruit to hand placed garnishing of rose petals and pistachios, the level of mastery and care applied by our experienced pastry chefs extends across the entire Black Star Pastry range.

When it came to selecting a delivery partner, we searched for the team who would care for our cakes as much as we do, ensuring it arrives to your door the same way it leaves ours – absolutely perfect. That’s why we choose to work with Traxi – Melbourne’s best cake delivery service. Black Star Pastry is now delivering to Melbourne Metro, to homes and businesses 30kms from our St Kilda kitchen – powered by Traxi.

Do you offer delivery?
Delivery is available from 11am to 4pm, Monday to Sunday in Melbourne only. Orders must be placed with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

Where do we deliver?
We deliver within 30km of our kitchen in St Kilda.

When will my cake be delivered?
Our delivery window is 11am – 4pm. If you require a specific time within this window, you can contact our customer care team to organize this at an extra fee. However, we cannot guarantee all requests. You will receive a text message from our delivery partner when they are on their way.

What if no one is home?
When confirming your order, you are agreeing that our delivery partner has authority to leave, and that you are responsible for the delivery once they have left it according to your delivery details. Please ensure all details are entered correctly when confirming your order.
