'First Snow'

THE FESTIVE SEASON JUST GOT TASTIER WITH OUR LIMITED-EDITION CHRISTMAS CAKE, ‘FIRST SNOW’

To celebrate the festive season, we’ve rolled out a limited-edition Christmas cake, ‘First Snow’. For the first time in years, we’ve unveiled a modern take on the traditional Christmas cake, a refreshing and light dessert to finish off your Christmas feasting.

Dialling up the flavour factor, our Christmas cake comprises layers of elderflower cream, a drizzle of white chocolate atop each layer of milk sponge, a vein of Griottine and cherry compote, made from kirsch marinated morello cherries and a crunchy base, made from roasted wafer. To finish, it’s dusted with white chocolate to replicate forest snow and garnished with hand-carved chocolate and pine flavoured pinecones with cherry essence, fondant snowflakes, fresh local cherries, and white chocolate ice shards delicately placed atop the cake.

The result is a feast for the senses, reminiscent of a winter wonderland. The combination of elderflower and chocolate produce a fresh and floral taste, the perfect complement to the aromas from the alcohol-soaked cherries.
