Black Star Pastry recently had the honour of catering for The Social Outfit’s 10th anniversary.

The Social Outfit is an incredible not-for-profit slow fashion brand that’s empowering thousands of women from refugee and new migrant communities by providing employment and training. Their workers create beautiful garments that are crafted from waste fabric donated by local fashion houses. By purchasing their stunning apparel and accessories, you can directly support The Social Outfit and the wider refugee and new migrant communities they engage with.

We took immense pride in catering for The Social Outfit’s milestone event on 26 September 2024, which included 300 employees, trainees, industry partners, customers, and more. On the day of the event, we unveiled a 4-tiered cake with alternating tiers of mouth-watering Watermelon Strawberry and Chocolate Mirage.
