DELIVERY WINDOWS

To ensure every cake, pastry and gift arrives fresh and in perfect condition, deliveries are completed within a delivery window of 10:00am to 5:00pm on your selected delivery date.

While you can choose your preferred delivery day during checkout, we are unable to guarantee specific delivery times. Orders may arrive at any time within the delivery window.

If your order is for a time-sensitive event, we recommend scheduling delivery for the day before your celebration where possible.

PEAK SEASON DELIVERIES

During busy seasonal periods such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, Christmas and Lunar New Year, delivery demand can be significantly higher than usual. To avoid disappointment, we recommend placing your order as early as possible to secure your preferred delivery date.

Please note that delivery capacity may be limited during peak periods and available dates may fill quickly. Orders will continue to be delivered between 10:00am and 5:00pm on the selected delivery day.

DELIVERY FEES

Enjoy convenient home delivery on cakes, pastries, catering and gifting orders across our delivery networks for orders over $50.

Monday to Friday: $13
Saturday to Sunday: $16

Better yet, enjoy free delivery on orders over $125 within our delivery area. The discount will be automatically applied at checkout when your order qualifies. Please note that delivery availability is subject to postcode eligibility and delivery capacity. For large catering, corporate, or event orders, additional delivery charges may apply depending on order size and location.

- Strawberry Watermelon Cake (Burwood, Hurstville, Castle Hill, Macquarie, Newtown, Parramatta): 11:30PM cut-off for next day instore pick-up
- Strawberry Watermelon Cake (Sydney CBD, Rosebery, Chatswood): 10:00AM cut-off for same day pick-up
- Tiered Cakes: 5 Days
- Catering (Mini Products): 3 Days

For larger corporate orders, events, weddings, we recommend placing your order as early as possible to secure your preferred date.

During peak periods such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Easter, additional lead times may apply due to increased demand. We encourage ordering early to avoid disappointment.

Prefer to pick up your order? We offer convenient instore collection from all Black Star Pastry locations across Sydney.

Simply choose your preferred store and collection time at checkout, and your order will be freshly prepared and ready for pickup.

All orders are carefully packaged and stored under optimal conditions to ensure they are ready for you at the time of collection.

Please bring your order confirmation (digital or printed) when collecting your order.

If you are collecting on behalf of someone else, please ensure you have the order details ready at the time of pickup.

PACKAGING & CARE

Every order from Black Star Pastry is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives as fresh and beautiful as it leaves our kitchen.

Our cakes, pastries and savouries are securely boxed and designed to protect delicate structures during transport, while maintaining presentation quality for gifting occasions.

To maintain freshness, we recommend storing your products in the refrigerator immediately upon delivery or collection. For best enjoyment, allow chilled items to sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Our products are best enjoyed on the day of delivery or collection, when flavour, texture and presentation are at their peak. If storing overnight, keep refrigerated.

CANCELLATION POLICY

As all of our products are freshly prepared to order, we kindly ask that any changes or cancellations be made as early as possible.

Instore Pickup
- Orders may be cancelled or amended up to 24 hours before the scheduled collection time for a full refund.
- Orders cancelled within 24 hours of collection are non-refundable, as production will have already commenced.
- If you are unable to collect your order, please contact our Customer Care team as soon as possible. While we will do our best assist, we cannot guarantee that products can be held beyond the scheduled collection time time due to the perishable nature of our products.

Delivery
- Orders may be cancelled or amended up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date for a full refund.
- Orders cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery are non-refundable.
- Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are correct when placing your order. Black Star Pastry cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect information provided at checkout.
- If a delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect details, restricted access, or the recipient being unavailable, additional delivery charges may apply for any redelivery attempt.

Refunds
Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed to the original payment method.
